Up to $110 back if you score 85%+ on practice exams and still fail the SAFE MLO test within 30 days of finishing the course.
No fine print. If you put in the work and the test still goes sideways, we cover the exam fee.
File a claimHow the guarantee works
Three things to know before you file — what's covered, who qualifies, and how the refund reaches you.
What's covered
The SAFE MLO national-component exam fee — up to $110, and never more than you actually paid us — refunded to the card you used to pay for your NMLSApproved course.
One claim per buyer per course purchase. Excludes state-component fees, retake registration, and third-party prep purchases.
Who qualifies
Anyone on a full-price paid plan who put the practice exams to work — averaging 85%+ across their latest Exam Mode score on each full-length exam — and still came up short on test day.
The full checklist is right below, and it's verified automatically against your account.
How to claim
- 1Submit the short claim form.
- 2Support verifies your practice scores against your account.
- 3Approved refunds are issued within 5 business days.
You qualify if all of these are true
We put the bar up front so there are no surprises at claim time. Each rule below is checked against your account automatically.
Meet every one of these and your claim is approved.
- You have an active paid plan on your NMLSApproved account at the time you file — any subscription tier, the 3-, 6- or 12-Month Pass, or Retaker Plus. The 1-Week Cram pack is not covered.
- You bought that plan at full retail price. Any promotion, coupon, discount code or upsell offer — ACE10 included — waives the guarantee.
- You haven't filed a Pass Guarantee claim before — one refund per customer.
- You've attempted at least one completed run of every full-length practice exam in the library, in Exam Mode (topic quizzes, flashcards and Review Mode runs don't count).
- Your most recent Exam Mode attempt at each full-length exam sits within the last 90 days.
- Averaging those per-exam scores gives 85% or higher. Retakes count — your latest score on an exam replaces your earlier one.
- You sat for and failed the SAFE MLO test, and you file the claim within 30 days of the test date.
If you don't pass, we pay.
Hit 85%+ on our full-length practice exams, sit the SAFE MLO within 30 days, and if the test doesn't go your way we refund your exam fee — up to $110, capped at what you paid us. That's how confident we are in the prep.

Do I have to retake the test before claiming?
No. The refund covers the failed attempt itself. Whether you retake is up to you.
What counts toward the practice exam average?
See the eligibility checklist above. The gate is computed on your most recent Exam Mode attempt at each full-length exam — one score per exam, so sitting the same exam five times counts once. Review Mode attempts don't count — Review Mode shows you the correct answer after each question, so it measures learning, not readiness. Older attempts, incomplete attempts, topic quizzes, chapter quizzes and flashcard rounds are also excluded. You need at least one Exam Mode run of every full-length exam in the library (the system checks this automatically at claim time).
Does the 1-Week Cram pack include the Pass Guarantee?
No. The 1-Week Cram pack is a short sprint product and is not covered. The guarantee applies to active subscriptions, the 3-, 6- and 12-Month Passes, and Retaker Plus.
Why a 30-day window?
It keeps claims tied to the course you actually used. If you took the test 6 months after finishing, the gap matters more than the prep, and the refund stops being a fair signal.
Can I combine the guarantee with a promo code?
No. The Pass Guarantee applies only to plans bought at full retail price. Using any promotion, coupon or discount code — including ACE10 and upsell offers — waives the guarantee. This is set out in Terms of Service §5.
How much is refunded?
Up to $110 — the standard SAFE MLO national exam fee — but never more than you actually paid us. If your plan cost less than $110, the refund is capped at that lower amount. One refund per customer, issued to your original payment method.
What if my claim is denied?
We'll email you the specific reason — most often: practice-exam threshold not met, or claim filed outside the 30-day window. You're welcome to reply with additional context.
Put the prep to work — we'll back you up.
